Stationed out in a perilous province within war-torn Afghanistan, one Marian priest has two requests: your prayers and your assistance. The prayer needs are obvious. Father Donald, a U.S. Army chaplain, is ministering on the violent front lines of the 11-year American-led war in Afghanistan. The monetary needs may not be so obvious. Living in primitive conditions in what is known as a forward operating base (FOB) — essentially a miniature Alamo ringed by barbed wire — the men and women with whom Fr. Donald serves lack basic necessities (like toiletries) and comfort items (such as snacks and coffee). Some of these FOBs have restricted shower availability, and the warm water runs out quickly.

A women with a 7 family members, is behind him. She made him a slave of her. Last year she told him that she was pregnant of him. She newer had a stomach like a pregnant woman. Than she planned a game. She sent my brother to my country to see my mother. The day he arrived in Turkey my mother while preparing breakfast for him fell in the kitchen broke her hip and died at the age of 65 buried on january 10, 2010. And this woman said the baby born on 12 january, two days after my mother's burial which was on tuesday. On saturday I went to see the baby he was a huge one and watching tv. My brother for the sake of the baby? has given her his credit cards and now within a year he is 125 thousand in debt. He works with his brothers but he is the eldest and everything is in his name. This woman I do not know if hip nosing him.And now she wants to merry him on 2nd july. My cousin's grandson, little 10 year old Joey has been fighting cancer for over 3 years now. Most recently his brain tumor has come back and is growing. They have no more treatment options left, having tried everything already and living the past 3 years on a roller coaster of joys and sorrows. There is only 2 experimental, untried options for them. The doctors are very blunt and have said nothing else can be done.

Please pray for me. My name is Kimberly. I am 28 years old. I have big problems with Jealousy (a very bad case) and not trusting my fiance. I am unsure where the problem lies. The jealousy seems to control my life, other girls looking better than me, in public and on t.v. My jealousy is embarrassing. I always think my fiance is staring at other girls in a sexual way, I have always thought my boyfriends did that. I want to escape these feelings, this torment so bad. But I don't know how .I have tried for years. Jealousy ruin a previous marriage. It is so bad that I don't want my fiance to go anywhere there is pretty girls without me, it is so bad that I want to not go in public with him because I don't want to see him look at other women. I know he is not like that, yet the jealousy takes over. The jealousy affects all my decisions, I wont even go bowling or go to the movies with him because I am afraid to see other women who I think have great qualities and want them. It goes even deeper than that, Jealousy is violent. I cant deal with it. The only arguments me and my fiance have is over JEALOUSY! It is uncomfortable. It is bad. It is killing me! It is destroying my fiance. God help! I have been through allot in my life. I come from a non Christian home. I am a born again believer yet still have doubts. I really need allot of prayer. I want to trust and believe God 100% that if the word says it, then it is true! I want to believe that Gods promises are for me. Its like I cant make myself believe anything. And I always forget Gods love for me. I always forget all the good things he does for me .I am a mess. I am unhappy, not thankful as I want to be, not as loving as I want to be, not as caring as I want to be, not as obedient as i want to be. I live in shame and guilt and pity because of my imperfections and falling short of what a Christian is supposed to be. I live in guilt and condemnation about my past. I believe everything everyone says about me and question myself. I seem to have lost all my identity and seem to not realize the loving person that I am on the inside. I am confused allot about what is going on around me. I am confused about what is the truth about things. I am confused and stressed about why is there all these bad things happening to me and why is there so much evil in this world. I wish to see the hand behind all the blessings in my life so that I know that it is him and that I can thank him personally. I pray all the time. I read my bible. I read books about God. Yet, I am still not at peace. I don't have much joy. I think about my problems allot. I really want out of this thinking mess that I am in and I cannot do it myself. Passed away last night, age 89. A beautiful sweet Catholic lady friend. Her family is not Catholic - however please, please pray for her soul now and the days to come. Tomorrow my nineteen year old niece is going to VT with her boyfriend to the planned parenthood clinic. She is six weeks pregnant and the boyfriend does not want her to have this baby. She knows that it is a baby but she is overwhelmed by her life right now. We have offered her as many options as we could but she still headed up to VT today to go to the appointment tomorrow. She said that they were going to give her an ultrasound and she was not sure what she was going to do. The pressure is very great from the boyfriend. Please pray for them tomorrow so that this baby is not murdered. Heavenly Father. I'm so desperate and depressed at this moment. Help me to pray for financial blessings. Praying for months already and unfortunately the answered prayer was not granted. My wife, Leelamma was diagnosed with brain tumor on 10/22/09. Her surgery was at sloan kettering cancer center on 10/30/09. She completed her 30 radiation treatments and 40 chemo treatments (by Pills) on January 7, 2010. Radiation treatment was completed. She will have an MRI on 2/10/2010. We understand that there is a strong saint Padre Pio prayer group at this shrine. Please add her name to the prayer group and remember her in your thoughts and prayers for a negative MRI on 2/10/10 and immediate healing of her sickness. Again, thanks for your super support. v/r
